PROFESSION/JOB TITLE/DESCRIPTION:
Healthcare/Manager, Compliance/Responsible for Internal Audit, Special Investigation Unit and effectively assisting the Executive Director in all responsibilities including, but not limited to, the management interactions and relationships with state and federal regulatory authorities and IU Health Compliance and IU Health Plans’ Senior Leadership. Oversee and improve current monitoring and reporting results of the compliance/ethics efforts of IU Health Plans. Manage daily operations of personnel responsible for improving operational efficiency in the designated areas by using standard work to measure staff performance, and creating and analyzing reports to ensure service levels are met. Develops and maintains an effective communication system which assures an effective flow of information and establishes a culture of compliance throughout the health plan. Lead day-to-day compliance operations to support the growth and add to the bottom line of IU Health Plans’ business. Collaborates with other departments (e.g., Population Health, Pharmacy PBM, IUH Risk Management, IUH Internal Audit, IUH Compliance, IUH Human Resources, and IUH Plans internal departments, etc.) to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution.

Assistant Instructor – NXG Motorsport, Inc.
Nexgeneracers (NXG) is the organization that manages and operates the Lucas/Oil Youth Motorsports programs. These are experiential learning initiatives for young boys and girls ages 11-15. The program has influenced over 900 kids since its inception in 2006.

Obtaining this scholarship truly helped me in my collegiate career not only financially but physically to search for more scholarship opportunities. My goal was never to burden my parents with financial aid thus I am grateful to have received this monetary gift.
